Summer Highlights

This summer, Befriended hosted four wonderful Activity Days at Court Bushes Community Hub, Gateway Baptist Church, the Befriended Hub and Keymer Hall.

We enjoyed exercise, music, games and new experiences - from seated volleyball and crazy golf to juggling, plate spinning and poi with Samantha Burton from Joyous Flow Arts. Delicious lunches, cakes and ice creams provided plenty of time to relax and chat.

A highlight was welcoming young people from St Andrews Youth to the Befriended Hub. Sharing activities, stories and laughter created wonderful connections across the generations.

Befriended friends also enjoyed a special trip to see My Fair Lady at Chichester Festival Theatre. We travelled to Arundel Baptist Church for a delicious packed lunch before enjoying the colourful afternoon performance. We returned home with happy memories—and more cake!

Thank you to Gail and all our wonderful volunteers for making these activities possible. Together, we celebrated friendship and the joy of belonging to a welcoming community where everyone is valued.
